Dance House Helsinki is looking for a Programme Manager.
Dance House Helsinki is a new venue for dance in Helsinki, Finland. The construction of the Dance House building will commence this year, and the venue will be opened in autumn 2020. Dance House Helsinki will have two stages with 700 and 250 seats, a yearly budget of m€ 3,2 and a permanent staff of 15 persons in management, production and services. Collaboration with prominent partners, both in Finland and internationally, is the key element of its future success.
Dance House Helsinki strives to:

The recruitment of Dance House Helsinki’s personnel has started in May 2018 with the nomination of Director, Matti Numminen. The process continues with the appointment of Programme Manager to be followed with the position of Marketing Manager autumn 2018.
You will lead your own team and together with the team of managers you will be responsible in part of the strategic, business and marketing planning of the Dance House. You work closely together with partner organisations to develop and manage programmes, commissions and events, which support the vision of Dance House. You will not shy away from the hands-on running of the programming on a daily basis.
You have a good, wide knowledge of both the Finnish and international dance scenes, extensive professional networks and a strong track record in dance programming and/or producing. Ability to interact with diverse dance cultures and skills in planning programming with them is essential.
This is a fulltime position, and you will report directly to the Director. The duration of the contract is negotiable, preferred being 4-6 years. The position requires extensive travel.
