Glacier is a work choreographed by Johanna Kajanus and performed by 14 dancers, embodying a massive metamorphosis. The piece portrays the culmination of human greed and how hedonism sustains us through change. Pleasure, misery, joy, and destruction intertwine to create the beauty surrounding us. The movement language draws inspiration from contemporary dance, ballet, and street dance.
The performance is available to stream until October 30, 2025.
The recording is part of Dance House Helsinki's Digital Stage project which takes place during the years 2023-2024. The project is funded by the European Union - NextGeneration EU.
