Introduction

The Glacier, choreographed by Johanna Kajanus, is a dance piece featuring 20 dancers. It depicts a massive metamorphosis, a culmination of human greed, supported by hedonism. The work shows how all the beauty around us is the result of not only pleasure and joy but also misery and destruction. The choreography has been inspired by both modern dance and classical ballet, as well as street dance.
